此句要注意苹果、风筝和树的不同属关系，在翻译时要注意in the tree和on the tree的区别。

此句要注意people实是复数的问题。

E. 小学英语句型There be之类的请详细一点
There be 后面的名词是句子的主语，属倒装结构。疑问句形式是将be或will/have/can/must等助动词、情态动词提专至there之前，否定形式属则直接在be或助动词、情态动词后加not，因此要表达“某个地方或某个时间存在什么事物或人”的时候常用“There be + 名词+ 地点（时间）这一句型。

一、概说

1.主谓一致问题
:若只有一个主语，谓语的数则取决于该主语的数；若有几个主语并列，则通常是与靠近的主语保持一致：

4.动词be换成其他动词
有时可将there be中的动词be 换为 live, remain, seem, appear, exist, stand, lie, come等：

There existed different opinions on this problem. 对这个问题曾有不同看法。

5.与其他动词搭配使用
there be结构有时可与其他动词搭配使用，构成一种复合谓语：
There seemed to be nobody about, so I went in. 附近似乎没有人，因此我就走了进去。
There happened to be a man walking by. 恰好有一个人从旁经过。
三、there be结构的非谓语形式
1.基本结构
there be结构的非谓语形式有两种基本结构，即there being和there to be。
2. there being结构
该结构的主要用法有：
(1)用作状语：
There being nothing else to do, we went home. 由于没什么其他的事要干，所以我们就回家了。
There having been no rain, the ground was dry. 由于没有下雨，所以地面很干。
【注】有时可与状语从句转换：
There being no further business (=As there was no further business), I declared the meeting closed. 由于没有别的事了，我宣布闭会。
(2)用作介词宾语：
There is now some hope of there being a settlement of the dispute. 现在有点希望可以解决这次争端。
2. There to be 结构
该结构的主要用法有：
(1)用作动词宾语：该结构可用作某些动词(如like, prefer, hate, want, mean, intend, expect, consider 等)的宾语：
I don’t want there to be any misunderstanding. 我可不希望有任何误解。
Students hate there to be too much homework. 学生讨厌做太多的家庭作业。
We expect there to be more discussion about this. 我们期望能对此展开更多的讨论。
【注】在let there be结构中，动词be不带to：
Don’t let there be any noise. 不允许有任何吵闹。
Let there be no mistake about it. 这事不要出错。
(2)用作介词for的宾语(www.yygrammar.com)：
They asked for there to be another meeting. 他们要求再开一次会议。
【注】用作介词宾语一般用there being，但用作介词for的宾语时，只能用there to be。比较：
They planned on there being another meeting. 他们打算再开一次会议。
They planned for there to be another meeting. 他们打算再开一次会议。
H. there be的用法和例子
there be 是指某地有某人或者某物的存在，主要分清there 后面那个be用is 还是用
are，there is 后面接可数名词单数还有不可数名词，there are 后面接可数名词复数，疑问句是重点，主要就是对划线部分提问，我给你举几个例子
,there is a boy in the classroom. 对句中a 提问的话，
要用how many, how many boys(注意many 后加可数名词复数）are there in the classroom?
如果是对a boy 提问，
那么要用what, what's in the classroom?
复数的话，再来一个例子，
there are five boys in the classroom.
对five 提问：how many boys are there(are there不能丢）in the class room?
对five boys提问：what's in the classromm? 和单数句子一样，要注意，无论主语是单数复数，都用what's.
还有一种情况是不可数名词，再举个例子：
there is some water in the bottle.
对some 提问：用（how much因为水不可数）how much water is there in the bottle?
对some water提问：what's in the bottle?(和前面的一样哦，要注意）
There be＋代词或名词(短语)＋地点/时间状语
例如：
There is a desk and two chairs in the room.
“有某人在做某事”，要用“There be＋sb.＋doing sth.＋地点/时间状语”。
例如：
There are several children swimming in the river.河里有几个孩子在游泳。
There be句型表示“存在”关系，have表示“所属”关系，两者不能混合在一个句子中。
例如：
There is going to/will be a class meeting tomorrow.我们要说“明天有一个班会。”
