In recent years， many newspapers and magazines focus on the activities of film stars， pop singers and some other famous men and women. Reporters disguise their identities， infiltrate the subject's business and family， or even bug and wiretap them——to get the news by whatever means are necessary.
It is not difficult to explain the reason for their surprising amount of interest in famous people's lives. How ever， those exposed people can be severely injured by such press attention. Sensational stories about their private lives cause great unhappiness to them. To escape reporters， they can't even lead a normal life. Sometimes their lives will be in danger. For example， Princess Diana died in a car accident as she attempted to escape photographers in a chase through Paris.
Famous people are also citizens. They have the right to keep their own privacy like ordinary people——the basic right which should be respected， protected and guaranteed by our laws in whatever circumstances.

一、了解中西文化的差异是写好英语文章的前提。
这里的文化差异不仅包括人文地理和民俗风情方面的不同，而且包括了中英文语言运用习惯的诸多不同。首先，在平时的教学中，我们就必须根据教材，适时渗透一些西方文化知识，让学生尝试了解相关的文化背景等。课后也可鼓励他们自己上网查阅相关资料。这样，既开阔了学生语言学习的视野，也为他们日后的写作提供了一些文化素材。例如，在写 “My favorite festival”一文时，很多学生都写到 “Christmas Day”，这里就涉及到了不少西方节日风俗的文化知识。对这个节日了解较多的学生，他们准备着笔的内容就比其他同学丰富多了。其次，了解英语语言运用的习惯，学习一些简单的英语语法知识，对于写作也是很有必要的。否则，就容易在谴词造句中出现我们中国人学英文的通病——中国式英语。
二、要灵活变通，合理做好作业批改。
在批改英语作文的过程中，经常能发现一些将中文生硬地翻译成英文的表达法。由于中英文之间的差异和词汇量、表达法积累的不足，出现难于表达的情况是十分正常的。关键问题在于如何处理。有一句话叫做“立志如山，行道如水”，套用在这个问题上就很合适。期刊文章分类查询,尽在期刊图书馆写英文作文，一定要有决心把它写好，有信心把意思表达清楚，这是“立志如山”；但关键是遇到问题时要有个灵活的态度，能像流水一样变通解决问题。
有个翻译界的故事说：在某大型国际会议的招待会上，一道菜是用鸡蛋做的。与会的客人问翻译：“What is it made of?”本来是非常简单的一个问题，结果翻译太紧张，忘了“egg”这个词，但是他急中生智，回答：“It is made of Miss Hen’s son.”这里，就是一个灵活变通的范例。绕道表达，是写作中应该常常运用的一种方法。
三、积累词汇和句型是英语写作入门的关键。

因为小学生所掌握的英语词汇和语法知识有限，他们初涉作文领地，大部分学生都会感觉“无从下笔”或者即使冥思苦想拼凑好一篇短文，也难以避免多处的单词拼写和语法错误。所以，提供一两篇优质的范文供初学者模范学习是相当有必要的。由于较少发现有同步作文集的书籍，我通常都是自己执笔写“下水文”给学生提供参照。成就一篇文章本身是一个创造性的思维过程，但是通常也不能抹杀习作模仿带给作者的灵感和启迪。为初学英文写作的学生提供范文，一方面可以帮助他们克服惧写的心理障碍，另一方面可以引导他们用较规范的句式去表达观点或描述事物，避免因语法知识的缺陷而胡乱拼凑“中国式英语句子”的现象。
五、训练口语是英语写作入门的重要环节。
听说读写是语言学习的四大要素。在学习的过程中，这四者是紧密联系，相互促进的。在现阶段的小学英语教学中，略侧重于口语教学，这与学生的年龄结构和语言习得规律的阶段性都有关系。为此，小学高年级的英语教师就必须利用这一点引导学生成功跨越初步写作的障碍。小孩基本都有个“通病”——爱动口，懒动笔。所以即使对高年级的学生，在教学中我依然重视他们的口语训练，只不过形式改变了，要求提高了。回答问题，连词说话和复述课文等都是我常用的练习方式，偶尔还会让学生进行相应的写话训练。这样一来，学生不仅口语方面有提高，而且写话水平也有了明显的进步。在每次进行作文练习时，我通常都要求学生先说一说，然后再提笔。这相似于低年级学生初学中文写作时的说话练习环节，对于他们尽快踏入写作之门都是很有益处的。
一言以蔽之，增进了解西方文化、注意积累词汇、尝试模仿习作以及重视训练口语这四个方面对初学英文写作的小学生是非常有帮助的。当然，文无定法。我相信很多同行都各自有一套行之有效的作文教学方法，谨望本人的拙见能起到抛砖引玉的良效。
