随着私家车的增多，开车接送孩子上下学，已成为大部分学生家长每天雷打不动的“必修课”。每逢上学、放学时段，经纬小学校门前交通堵塞现象非常严重,这已成为道里交警大队日常工作中一个无法回避的难题，为了解决这个难题，大队长王伟亲自谋划，多措并举。
一、高度重视综合整治。对于校园周边通勤时段乱停车的现象，大队领导班子高度重视，多次开展调研，研究对策，先后采取了合理利用停车泊位，机动巡逻、现场劝导、疏导分流、督导检查、长效治理等多种举措，治理学校上下学时段的违法停车，减少因为违法停车对周边交通造成的拥堵与阻碍，有效治理 “校园周边行车难”问题。
二、加强周边秩序整治。有效、合理利用停车泊位，通勤时段增派警力，在学校路口指挥车辆、疏导交通，劝离违停车辆，护送学生过马路。采取移动抓拍、录像、现场处罚、非现场处罚等形式，从严查处违法占道、违停、不按规定车道行驶等违法行为，净化学校周围的交通环境。利用勤务提前到位，加大管理力度，及时疏导劝解的方法来缓解问题。
