（3）、计划开展课题研究工作，但是工作没有得到支持，计划夭折。 其实，只有“以科研促教改，以教改谋发展”才能更好地提高学生英语水平，提高教学效果。
二、加强学习，提升素质。只有勤于学习才会乐于施教，也只有勤于学习，我们才能真正教好书、育好人。为此，我们教研组不断强化学习教育，充实教师知识结构，提高教师理论素养。
（1）、校本研究：全组教师利用课余时间抄写很多学习教案，内容包括：新方法、新理念、新技能等。 当然，学校在每一次校本培训的内容和形式上都做了详尽的部署和精心的安排，可谓用心良苦。在抄写的过程中，知识已经无形中进入我们的大脑。同时，我们拓宽学习渠道，尤其是在没有课的情况下，我们进入互联网查找(www.fanwenstudy.com)学习资料、共享教学资源等，从而不断提高英语组每位教师的业务素质。
（2）、根据学校的中继教的要求。 本学期，结合学科专业和自身工作需要我们先后自学了《怎样听课与评课》，同时还写了心得体会，从中受到很多启发，通过这次读书活动使我们每位教师对工作的态度，对人生的追求有了更深刻的反思和认识，认识到一个人只有尊重自己的工作，热爱自己的工作，才能乐在其中，不断提升自我。

三、工作方面的不足之处：
1、琐事太多，有些组内活动只能蜻蜓点水，不能做到具体化、实质化；
2、组内教师作业多，但是因为学生英语水平低，作业只有数量，没有质量；作业内容没有向知识的深度和广度延伸。
四、开展自我反思；少数教师先进的教育理念还未真正转化为自觉的教学行为，只有经常对自我教学进行反思才能总结出自己在教学上的得与失。在上文以提到本学期我们的教学反思任务。
五、今后工作设想：
1、加强案例研究、个案分析，注重对优秀教师经验的总结提炼和推广。
