2007圣诞节作文：在国外的第一个圣诞节
到美国以前看过很多讲中国留学生在美国生活的书，其中印象最深刻，也是一般人心目中最典型的一个场景是，一个中国女孩在圣诞夜站在无人的街头，一面流泪，一面握着话筒给大洋彼岸的亲人打电话。我本来以为这也会发生在我的身上的，因为我的两个roommate都要到别的城市看望她们的亲戚，大大的apartment只留下我一个人。结果在平安夜那天中午，我的友好家庭开车过来接我到他们家里过节。
于是，我的平安夜就在我的友好家庭家里度过了，这真正是我第一个在国外的圣诞节，也是到美国以后第一次在老外家里住，真正是从头到尾看了老美怎么过圣诞节的。感觉呢，嗯，好玩是非常好玩，有几个年龄相仿的美国年轻人一起玩游戏，看录象(哎呀呀，他们家的basement有一个"家庭影院"，效果比起当年我在华工的时候在计算机上看道班碟子是没有办法比的啦)。唯一觉得受不了的是他们的圣诞食品。平安夜的晚餐除了一碗非常非常鲜的海鲜汤以外就只有烤面包。我正奇怪，我都吃不饱，他们家那个牛高马大的儿子是怎么吃出来的？紧接着就是圣诞的service，一家人来来回回唱了几首圣诞赞美诗(我当时感觉好饿，忍不住就四下张望！)，然后好不容易结束了，就是全家每人念一段圣经，也是好长好长，我都不知道走神走到哪里去了。
好不容易结束了，我心想这下总该开桌了吧？结果是一桌子的cookie和shrimp，shrimp还不错，这个得承认。撤了cookie以后，还是dissert，那么甜，又不能吃多，吃的时候我都可以预料到，晚上我肯定会饿肚子的。本来今天还有turkeymeal的，我昨天晚上实在忍无可忍，就非闹着要人家开车送我回家住，理由是不习惯住在别人家里，实际上是赶紧回家吃点中国菜。
