在小學教學英語教學工作中，通過這幾年的教學實踐、思考，總結小學英語教學有這樣一些特點：
首先，教學內容貼近學生生活，符合小學生興趣的需求。例如數字、顏色、食品、服裝、玩具、動植物、身體、個人、家庭、學校、朋友、文體等，以及周圍環境和社會生活，這些鮮活的話題，教材採用兒童喜愛的表現形式，如韻律詩歌、寓言故事、會話表演、游戲等，呈現給學生，足以引起學生的興趣。
第二，語言功能、結構、話題、任務有機結合。以話題為核心，以功能和結構為主線，以任務型活動為目標安排各單元或各課的教學。學生通過用中學、學中用，「習得」與「學得」結合，學生模仿，教師指導，使學生逐漸形成良好的語音、語調、書寫、拼讀的習慣，逐步培養起初步的語感。
第三，採用多種教學方法，如情景法、視聽法、結構法、功能法、全身反應法、沉浸法等，創設情景，促進相互交流，如創設打電話、購物、生日聚會、野餐、旅遊、問路、看病等栩栩如生的情景，開展互動式、合作式學習。當孩子們扮演角色，成功地做成一件事時，他們會喜形於色，興趣倍增、信心加強，受到很大激勵。

六、課後反思：
在教學過程中，我根據學生的特點和教材的難易程度，分階段、由易到難地設計了多種多樣的教學活動。其中我覺得最成功的有以下幾點：
1 、復習水果名稱與新課導入這個環節，我精心設計 Guess 這個游戲，既復習了舊知識，又自然地引入了新知識的學習，做到環環相扣，步步設營。啟發學生，真正做到學以致用。
2 、在教學過程中，根據新課程標準的理念，我多次創設真實的情景，如把教室創設成家，讓學生當主人邀請客人吃水果的情景，又把教壇假設為水果店的情景，利用多媒體創設 At the birthday party , At the fruit shop , At home, At the restaurant 的情景。通過情景的創設，鼓勵學生大膽使用英語，為他們提供了自主學習和相互交流的機會，鼓勵他們通過體驗、實踐、討論、合作、探究等方式，發展聽說讀寫的綜合語言技能。
3 、在教學過程中，我非常關注學生的情感，想方設法營造寬松、民主、和諧的教學氛圍，如在每個教學環節中，我都很尊重每個學生，特別關注學習困難和性格內向的學生的自尊心和積極性。
4 、由於本班學生人數太多，在個別教學環節中學生不能人人參與，這是一個遺憾。在教學中各個環節的時間分配不夠合理，這有待以後加以改進。

2. Play the cassette or read the dialogue. The children listen and follow in their books.
3. Play the cassette again , pause after each utterance for the children to point at the corresponding picture .Perform a simple gesture to indicate the meaning,for example, holding onto a kite.
4. Play the cassette again. This time pause for the class to repeat each utterance. Encourage them to mine what they say.

1、 Divide the class into sections. Give each section a role in the conversation .
