12月24日上午，交警道里大隊領導班子及宣教科來到經緯小學校，利用校園電視台展開寒假前最後一次宣傳攻勢，黑龍江衛視和哈爾濱電視台對大隊長王偉進行了現場采訪。道里大隊為了切實解決通勤時段校園周邊交通秩序混亂的問題，結合轄區實際情況，積極開展「小手拉大手」交通安全宣傳活動，綜合治理校園周邊亂停亂放的違規行為。
隨著私家車的增多，開車接送孩子上下學，已成為大部分學生家長每天雷打不動的「必修課」。每逢上學、放學時段，經緯小學校門前交通堵塞現象非常嚴重,這已成為道里交警大隊日常工作中一個無法迴避的難題，為了解決這個難題，大隊長王偉親自謀劃，多措並舉。
一、高度重視綜合整治。對於校園周邊通勤時段亂停車的現象，大隊領導班子高度重視，多次開展調研，研究對策，先後採取了合理利用停車泊位，機動巡邏、現場勸導、疏導分流、督導檢查、長效治理等多種舉措，治理學校上下學時段的違法停車，減少因為違法停車對周邊交通造成的擁堵與阻礙，有效治理 「校園周邊行車難」問題。
二、加強周邊秩序整治。有效、合理利用停車泊位，通勤時段增派警力，在學校路口指揮車輛、疏導交通，勸離違停車輛，護送學生過馬路。採取移動抓拍、錄像、現場處罰、非現場處罰等形式，從嚴查處違法佔道、違停、不按規定車道行駛等違法行為，凈化學校周圍的交通環境。利用勤務提前到位，加大管理力度，及時疏導勸解的方法來緩解問題。
三、更新理念方便出行。建議學校錯時上下學，以多種形式對家長進行交通安全教育，充分發揮「小手拉大手」的作用，通過學生勸告家長，請每位學生帶回一封《學生家長停車承諾書》，由家長簽字承諾：自覺遵守交通法規，摒棄陋習，文明停車。讓這支「接送學生車隊」更新出行理念，努力做到：錯時接送，不違法佔路停車，臨時停車即停即離或是將車輛停在不妨礙交通處，步行一段送孩子入校；鼓勵學生合乘或乘公共交通工具，倡導學生「自己進校園」，教育培養孩子的自立能力。
