[摘要] 「操練」是對話教學中的重要環節之一,我們發現我們很多老師在對話教學設計上往往會偏重於「呈現」這一環節,而忽視「操練」這一環節,本文結合教學實踐,論述了目前小學英語對話教學中對話操練存在一些問題,並針對在小學英語對話操練中的問題提出策略。
[關鍵詞]操練 問題 策略
我們小學英語課堂對話教學通常分成三個步驟,即呈現、操練和輸出。「操練」是對話教學中的重要環節之一,「操練」是指教師在呈現完新的語言項目後,運用靈活多樣的手段組織學生對新授內容進行鞏固性的訓練,從而在語言形式和意義兩方面增強學生的感性認識,使學生獲得初步的語言實踐能力。操練的效果直接影響學生對對話的掌握程度。反思我們的課堂,我們發現我們很多老師在對話教學設計上往往會偏重於「呈現」這一環節,而「操練」這一環節經常是草草了事,我認為目前小學英語對話操練存在著一些問題:
問題一、重操練結果、輕操練過程
在實際的對話教學中,我們會發現有些學生對於所學對話是「讀讀會讀,背背會背,但用用不會用」。在具體的應用中,他們的反應有時還會慢上好幾拍。這是由於我們在對話操練時片面追求知識目標的實現,認為學生能夠把單詞和文本讀好背好就是唯一目的,而不注重過程和方法,把生動活潑的語言教學變成了費時費力的機械操練。這樣的機械操練不但讓學生失去了操練的興趣,而且只能讓我們認讀對話中的語句,並沒有達到真正意義上的操練。
[對策] 新穎靈活的操練方法可以提高學生操練的興趣,靈活多樣的操練方式如同魔法石一般,吸引了學生的眼球,抓住了學生的心,使學生大膽的操練對話,同時能增加學生對話的機會。下面就介紹幾種靈活有效的對話操練方法:
1、在歌曲中操練對話。
兒童歌曲和童謠一般都有優美動聽的旋律和輕松歡快的節奏,在歌曲中操練對話是一種既能減輕學生的心理負擔,又能使學生在輕松愉快的氣氛中掌握對話的好方法。因此,在小學英語牛津教材中就整理了不少這樣的歌謠。例如我們在三年級的《How are you》的對話教學中,就可以穿插單元後面的歌曲進行對話操練,在節奏和音樂的伴奏下,學生邊說或邊唱,邊做動作,積極的投入到操練中去,能很快掌握所學對話。我們還可以利用一些學生耳熟能詳的歌曲,在操練對話時替換新詞,隨著歌曲的旋律,學生們便能脫口唱出所學對話。
2、在表演中操練對話。
學生是天生的表演「藝術家」。作為教者要為學生創設一定的情境,鼓勵學生扮演情境中某一人物,使其興致勃勃地進入學習境界,在特定的情境中操練和運用所學對話,從而避免句型操練的單一和枯燥。例如對於低中年級的學生,教師可根據課文人物製作頭像,讓學生扮演文中的人物,練習課文對話。而對於小學高年級的學生則可以讓他們充分發揮,表演對話內容。比如表演結識新友或看醫生、借東西、問路等,幫助學生理解對話內容,激發他們內在的表達慾望,達到操練對話的目的。
3、在游戲中操練對話。
好動、好玩是孩子們的天性,我們可充分利用這一心理特點,在英語對話操練中,適當運用英語游戲,不僅可以緩和課堂教學的緊張氣氛,還有助於消除學生的疲勞。另外,又可以使學生在饒有興趣的游戲中積極思維,掌握知識,並能使每個學生都參與進來,令課堂氣氛熱烈,這大大激發了學生學習英語的興趣。例如在四年級《Whose gloves?》這一課上,我們可以設計一個「猜猜看」的游戲,讓四位學生帶好自己的衣服,如「 sweater, jacket, jeans, coat」等。讓學生根據衣服特徵,通過對話猜猜衣服的主人。學生在「玩中練,練中玩」 ,掌握所學對話。
