(1)課下比一比誰能用big,small組詞、造句最多。鼓勵學生充分調動所學過的知識，並擴展這兩個形容詞的練習范圍。
(2)搜集長著長耳朵或短耳朵，長尾巴或短尾巴的動物，相關的名稱可以是學過的，也可以是沒學過的。此項活動既是對下節課知識的預習，幫助他們回憶所學過的有關動物的詞彙，也可以激發他們學習的積極性。
