第一部分，聽力。
大家完全可以把《新概念英語》當成是一套很好的聽力教材。《新概念英語》的配套磁帶有英音的和美音的兩種。大家可以根據自己的實際需要去選擇購買。通過《新概念英語》練習英語聽力的方法可以參考下列步驟：
第一步：不要看書，將整篇課文聽寫下來。如果有的詞聽不出來，猜測該詞應該是什麼，實在聽不出來就不勉強。隨著聽寫的增多，聽力會逐漸增強。在聽的過程中，也可加深對英語發音的認識。而且實踐證明，如果能達到一聽就懂的程度，你的腦子里英語翻譯成漢語的現象就會消失，閱讀理解的能力一定會大大提高。
